The Instructor’s program teaches essential skills and provides comprehensive practice of hands-on theory while working with live models and clients. Our Instructor’s program will train you in the principles of teaching, both practical and theory skills. You will study and help learn how to prepare the students with the needed skills and abilities for an exciting career. The goals as in instructor are to learn and be aware of many teaching styles, complete the instructors textbook and workbook, know the proper techniques and procedures as well as being able to demonstrate how and why things are done the way they need to be done with the outcome of success. The objectives as an Instructor are to learn all of the phases and the correct steps in the art of teaching and to see if the goals have been achieved as well as finding the desire to have patience, professionalism along the way and throughout the process of becoming an Instructor.
Learn to master the art of practicing, showing and teaching students all of the information they need to know about nails, hair, and skin from the smallest detail to the largest detail and the smallest steps to the largest steps. Help students find the confidence, desire and the joy in this fast growing career.
There are different Instructor’s programs with hours that vary accordingly.
Cosmetology Instructor – 500 hours
Esthetician Instructor – 300 hours
Nail Technician – 300 hours
Full-Time Cosmetology Student: 35-40 hours are required per week
Part-Time Cosmetology Student: 20-40 hours are required per week
9:00 am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
8:30 am – 4:00pm Saturday
(Every other Saturday is required)
All French Academy Students must pass with a minimum of 80% grade level in all Subjects.

No sleeveless shirts.
Totally enclosed black shoes, height is up to you.
Apron and name tag (that are provided) must be worn at all times.?

A non-refundable Application fee of $100.00 is due the day student signs Enrollment Agreement contract.

Gainful Employment Disclosure
According to NACCAS reporting requirements, job placement rate is calculated based upon students who graduated in 2014, who were eligible to sit for state board licensing and who were employed in a field for which their training prepared them by November 30, 2015. A graduate may be considered ineligible for job placement rate reporting if he/she has become deceased, permanently disabled, been deployed for military service, is under a student visa and is ineligible for employment in the U.S. or has continued education at an institution In the same ownership.
